Lightbox conditions – Cordial Knowledge Base

How can we help?

Overview

Lightbox conditions are rules that specify when a lightbox should display. If a lightbox doesn't have at least one condition set, it will not be shown to your website visitors.

Add conditions

You can create as many conditions for a lightbox as needed. By default, conditions with multiple rules work as AND operators, meaning that all rules must be met in order for the lightbox to be shown. To create a lightbox that will display if one or more rules is met, use the OR operator.

  1. After creating your lightbox, click Add under Conditions.

When a lightbox has a condition set, the Add link will change to Edit.

  1. Click the Add Conditions button.

  2. Click Add New Rule.

  3. Click Choose a rule type and select the desired rule from the menu. You can find the available lightbox rules below.

OR conditions

You can also create rules that work as OR operators, meaning that the lightbox will display if one or more of the conditions are met. The OR option allows you to display a lightbox even if only one of the rules evaluates to true.

Click the OR button to create this type of rule.

Webforms also offers rulesets, which allow you to save a set of rules that can be applied to multiple lightboxes. Read more about rulesets.
